Hoboken Murder Suspect Hid At Mom's House In Massachusetts, Sources Say
Details in the arrest of a man wanted in the slaying of a popular athlete in Hoboken, NJ, have come to light. Albert Morales, 33, was found at his mom's house in Chicopoee, MA, on Tuesday, April 30, according to sources with direct knowledge of the arrest. Morales, of North Bergen, NJ had been wanted in the cold-blooded killing of Damon "NuNu" Murray, 21, on Sunday, April 28, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Triangle Driver Cited For Unsafe Turn In I-95 Crash With Tractor Trailer: State Police
A driver was ticketed after police say she made an unsafe turn that caused a tractor trailer crash on I-95 in Virginia. Maria E. Martin, of Triangle, was heading north in a Ford F-150 when she drifted from the center lane to the right lane around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 8, Virginia State Police said. Martin, who was at the 150-mile marker in Prince William County, struck a tractor trailer, police said. She remained at the scene while the tractor trailer continued north. The Triangle woman was cited for making an unsafe lane change. Martin was not injured in the crash.

Ex-Deputy Assaulted Inmate In Fairfax County Jail, Police Say
A former Fairfax County Sheriff's Deputy has been arrested for assaulting an inmate in the county's adult detention center in January, police announced. Nicholas Vaszil, 28, of Annandale, was charged with simple assault after police said he assaulted the inmate in the jail's booking area on Jan. 1, at approximately 3:45 p.m., county police said. The Fairfax County Sheriff’s Office Internal Affairs notified FCPD two days later, and an investigation was subsequently launched, police said. Electric Scooter Thief Busted In Arlington, Police Say
A 50-year-old man from Washington DC was arrested for stealing two electric scooters in Arlington, police said. Police were called to the 1700 block of N. Pierce Street around 3:20 a.m. Tuesday, May 7 on reports of a man, later identified as Ahmad Bilal, breaking into a bike storage room, county police said. An SUV slammed through the side of an animal hospital in Fort Lee on Wednesday, May 8. Photos of the scene show an Alfa Romeo wedged in the side of Oradell Veterinary Group of Fort Lee, located at 1200 Palisade Avenue. Slain Paterson Shooting Victim ID'd As Popular Street Vendor
Shock spread through Paterson following the news that a popular 62-year-old street vendor died on Tuesday May 7, two days after he was shot. Police responding to Broadway and East 24th Street just after 10:20 a.m. Sunday, May 5 found Daryle Robinson suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
