The day belonged to Bobcat righty Frankie Vesuvio, who tossed a complete-game, two-hit shutout to earn a 4-0 victory for his team, which improved to 11-6.

John Spadafino gave Vesuvio all the support he needed with a two-run homer, but Kevin Wietsma added a two-RBI single for insurance.

Rye fell to 11-6 with the loss.
