Byram Hills Class of 2012 Bids School Farewell

PURCHASE, N.Y. – The Byram Hills High School Class of 2012 gathered for one last time Tuesday evening for its graduation ceremony at Purchase College in Purchase.

Superintendent Jackie Taylor praised the senior class and said she is confident the graduates will continue to succeed.

“I am extremely optimistic about this class and the choices they will make,” Taylor said.

Dorina Cipollone and Marlee Infante both gave the salutatorian address, reflecting on the many memories the students made throughout their years in the Byram Hills school system.

Valedictorian Aurora Xu urged her classmates to think independently during their future endeavors and to resist letting others dictate their decisions.

Byram Hills Principal Christopher Borsari advised the graduates to be creative and versatile in their future education, to not fear risks and to persevere when faced with challenges.

“On behalf of the entire faculty and staff, I offer my congratulations as you go forth in to the future,” Borsari said.  “And don’t be strangers.”
