NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- It was a busy week for North Castle Police with calls for everything from a general dispute over a taxi fare to a woman being locked in a restaurant.
On Monday, a woman who said she had gone to the restroom while visiting a restaurant and that the business had closed and she was locked inside. The owner was called and the woman was let out.
On Oct. 23, a minor verbal dispute between a passenger and a White Plains United Taxi driver over the fare. A call to the company revealed the driver did not work for the company.
Also on Oct. 23, business owner Tom Telesca reported that an employee had used his credit card to make $7,000 in purchases.
On Wednesday, a final call involved a complaint that a man was "threatening everybody" and that he was in a black "race car" in the driveway. The caller told police the man was upset that he is going to jail tomorrow. When police responded the man had left.
