Police: Woman With Warrant Arrested At Metro-North Station Searching For Loose Change

A woman with a warrant out for her arrest was taken into police custody after she was caught at a Westchester Metro-North train station searching for loose change.

Westchester County Police officers were dispatched to the Mount Kisco train station shortly after 1:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, where there was a report of a woman possibly tampering with the ticket machines.

Upon arrival, police found Susan Adams, 57, who said she was homeless and was checking the machines for any money that may have been left behind. A check of her ID found that she had a warrant for her arrest that was issued by New York State Police in Brewster.

Adams was wanted on charges that include criminal mischief, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. County Police troopers arrested her and she was held at the Green Street precinct until New York State Police troopers took her into custody.
