Ronald Ackridge, 61, of New Rochelle was stopped around 4:30 p.m. by Officer Corey Ashe after he was observed traveling at a slow speed and was unable to maintain a single lane on Peekskill Hollow Road, Chief Alex DiVernieri said.

When stopped, Ackridge identified himself as another person before further investigation revealed his true identity, DiVernieri said. The officer also determined that he was under the influence of drugs and was arrested.

Following his arrest, a computer check revealed that his license had been suspended three times within the past 10 years for DWI, DiVernieri said.

Ackridge was charged with felony DWAI drugs; false personation and aggravated driving without a license. He is being held without bail at the Putnam County Jail.
