Beginning on Monday, the North Castle Highway Department announced it will begin the removal of pavement from Sarles Street, High Street, Carolyn Place, Meadow Hill Place and Whippoorwill Road East.

Immediately following that milling, officials stated it is expected that paving will begin.

The entire roadway will not be closed, but motorists can expect delays. Nearby residents have also been requested to remove any parked vehicles from those roads or in the shoulder until work is completed.

“Please drive slowly. Please allow extra time for your travels. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you.”

Anyone with questions can call (914) 273-3561 between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. during work hours.
