Lacey Spears Says She Didn't Kill Son At Westchester Hospital

Lacey Spears, the Rockland County mother convicted of murdering her 5-year-old son, has broken her silence in an jailhouse interview with CBS’ “48 Hours,” according to multiple media reports.

The episode, "A Mother Accused," will air 10 p.m. Saturday.

Spears was found guilty last year of killing Garnett Spears with an overdose of salt in 2014 while the boy was at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla.

Spears, who blogged about her son’s many illnesses on social media, is imprisoned at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility.

According to lohud.com, Spears angrily denies killing Garnett, and points the finger at the doctors who tried to save her child’s life during the interview.

Spears had lived in Florida before moving to Ramapo in Rockland County with her son.
