An accident blocking the shoulder caused heavy delays on a stretch of I-84 on Wednesday morning.
The 7:45 a.m. crash, on the westbound side, was at Route 121 (Exit 21) in Southeast with traffic backed up to Saw Mill Road (Exit 1) at the Connecticut border.
Delays were also reported on the northbound Taconic State Parkway near Route 117 in Mount Pleasant because of a disabled vehicle.
