Adopt-a-Dog in Armonk is set to be featured on the new show on Friday. Each of the 15 minute episodes features 10 dogs that are currently available for adoption and looking for their "forever home."

DOGTV has partnered with more than 50 shelters throughout the country for the Adoption Show. Anyone who adopts a dog that is featured on the show will receive an “adoption kit” from DOGTV with more than $600 in items for their new rescued pet. In its infancy, the new program has led to more than a dozen adoptions of rescued dogs.

“We are passionate about the wellbeing of animals, and we know our viewers are too, so we wanted to create a show dedicated to helping dogs in need,” DOGTV Co-Founder and CCO Ron Levi said. “As we searched for shelters to bring on board to the Adoption Show, Adopt-a-Dog stood out to us because of we knew they would do everything in their power to help their shelter dogs find forever homes.

“We know that Adopt-a-Dog inspires the local Armonk community, and we wanted to bring the shelter’s dogs to a wider audience to help place these deserving dogs in loving homes.”
