The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

Part of a nationwide effort to responsibly dispose of household drugs and keep them from being abused, NWH is allowing families to drop off any unneeded or expired medications at the hospital's campus in Mount Kisco from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
