As dusk settled Saturday, parts of downstate New York had seen 20 inches or more of accumulation from the massive Nor'easter that began walloping the area at the crack of dawn.

Kennedy and LaGuardia airports each recorded the highest snowfall totals as of 5 p.m., with both at 20.4 inches.

Accumulation amounts varied widely in Westchester with Mount Vernon at 14 inches and White Plains at 6 inches with both totals reported at 4 p.m.

Other amounts from Westchester, also at 4 p.m.: Larchmont (11.5), Croton Falls (10.0), Somers (9.0) and Yorktown (9.0).

In Putnam, 8.6 inches of accumulated were reported in Mahopac at 4:20 p.m. and 7.4 inches in Putnam Valley at 3:40 p.m.

New snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are possible during the evening hours through midnight.

The Winter Storm Warning is in effect until 4 a.m. Sunday.

Metro-North suspended service as of 4 p.m. Gov. Andrew Cuomo declared a State of Emergency and a travel ban that includes state and public roads in New York City and Long Island that went into effect at 2:30 p.m.

The outlook for Sunday calls for sunny skies and a high around freezing, but wind chills between 5 and 15. Winds will be between 16 and 26 miles per hour, creating blowing snow, especially in the morning hours.
