Snow is expected to land in the region overnight Thursday and into daybreak Friday, making for a chance of a slippery morning commute Friday.

There could be an inch or more of accumulation in some spots in the area by daybreak.

Daytime temperatures on Thursday will reach a high of 32, but the wind will make it feel between 5 and 15 degrees colder than that.

By nighttime, temps could drop to a low of 18, and by 4 a.m. Friday morning, the region is likely to see snowflakes start to fall. It could make for a messy morning commute on Friday.

By noon Friday, winds will have died down and the storm should be on its way out of the area. Temperatures will hit a high of 33.

Snow may sneak back in the area Saturday night, but Sunday is expected to be partly sunny with highs near 42, and any flakes that remain should melt away.
