"We're having a great time because the weather is cooperating," Armonk resident Jon Collins said, who brought his two sons to the event. "Not too hot, not too cold, and not too pricey either."
Collins stood beside a circling swing ride while his sons spun by him.
"It almost makes me wish I was small enough to swing around with them," he said.
The carnival, sponsored by the Armonk Lions, was supposed to open Thursday but was canceled that night because of severe storms in the area.
The event includes food, rides, craft vendors, music, and pony rides. Admission is free.
"These are high quality vendors," Lions Chair Anthony Baratta said. "It's a great event, in a great town and for a great cause."
The Fol De Rol 's hours of operation are Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is also free.
