A wintry mix of snow and sleet could make for a slick Tuesday evening commute before a midweek warmup arrives.

Tuesday will be a cloudy day with a high in the upper 30s, but the wind-chill factor making it feel more like it's between 20 and 30 degrees.

There is a chance of snow and sleet between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., then a chance of rain, snow and sleet after 3 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. Rain, snow and sleet Tuesday evening will become all rain after 1 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent. Wednesday, with the temperature rising to the low 40s by 3 a.m. 

Rain is likely Wednesday, mainly before 9 a.m. during a day that will start off mostly cloudy before gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 45.

Thursday's high should reach the 50-degree mark with a chance of rain starting in the afternoon.
