Quick-moving Alberta Clippers are expected to bring rounds of snow and possible slippery travel to the area this weekend into Monday and again next week, according to AccuWeather.com.
Colder air will provide the pathway for the system that will make its way to the Hudson Valley.
Alberta Clippers can bring moderate to heavy snow on occasion, especially if they strengthen and slow down upon reaching the Atlantic Coast, according to AccuWeather.com.
The snowfall will be light and spotty with most areas likely to receive a few flurries to a coating at times Saturday to Monday, AccuWeather.com said.
A separate storm system is expected to bring periods of snow on Wednesday.
