Route 9A Reopens After Downed Tree Causes Closure

A stretch of Route 9A in Mount Pleasant has now reopened after a fallen tree led to its closure between Route 117 (Bedford Road) and Pleasantville Road.

Farther north, a fully involved car initially blocked the right lane, causing delays on the northbound Taconic State Parkway at Baldwin Road in Yorktown in an incident reported at 2 p.m.
