Three separate crashes on southbound I-684 caused delays during the Friday morning commute.
Motorists on I-84 are experience late morning delays due to construction.
The construction, which began around 9:30 a.m., is closing the right lane on eastbound I-84 between Lime Kiln Road (Exit 15) and the Taconic State Parkway (Exit 16) with traffic backed up to Route 9 (Exit 13).
On I-684, a crash that initially took out the left lane caused stop-and-go delays at the junction of the Saw Mill Parkway near Route 35, with traffic backed up all the way to Route 116 (Exit 7). The crash was reported at 8 a.m.
A separate 8:30 a.m. crash led to delays at Hardscrabble Road (Exit 8), with stop-and-go traffic backed up to I-84 (Exit 9).
Another crash occurred in that area shortly after, at around 8:55 a.m., also southbound.
