The 51-year-old Byram Hills High School graduate and former weightlifter says he is thrilled to have been named as his age group’s “Runner of the Year” for 2015 by the New York Road Runners, a sports club, The Examiner News article said.

Tateo runs about 4,000 miles a year, and although he credits the sport with improving his health and boosting his self-esteem, he said there’s not a lot that can top being honored by the NYRR, The Examiner News reported.
