Rye and Yorktown kick off at 7 p.m. Tuckahoe meets Haldane at 3:30 p.m. for the Class D title. John Jay-East Fishkill tackles Arlington for the Class AA title at noon.

The featured matchup pits Rye and Yorktown, with the winner advancing to the state  quarterfinals against the Section 9 champion.

Rye (8-1) edged Somers, 21-19, in the semifinals last week. The Garnets are led by quarterback Andrew Livingston, a senior who has committed to Brown University. He threw for two touchdowns in last week’s win. He needs 161 passing yards against Yorktown to break the all-time record for passing yardage in Section 1 currently held by Briarcliff’s Rob Higle. Livingston has thrown for 5,306 yards and 54 touchdowns in his career.

The Garnets’ defensive focus will be to stop Yorktown’s Nick Santavicca. He has rushed for 1,506 yards and 13 touchdowns for Yorktown (9-0). The junior had 215 yards and four touchdowns last week in a 47-12 win over Sleepy Hollow.
