Love was a member of the Byram Hills cross country and track and field teams. He was an avid runner who chose to continue his running career in college at the University of Vermont, where he was studying mechanical engineering.

He died Feb. 17 at school of a cardiac arrhythmia.

The event will start at 9:45 a.m. Sept. 22 at Wampus Brook Park. It will feature several different events for kids and adults. There will be T-shirts for first 300 runners who sign up in either the Monet Mile or Jamie's 5K (sizes based on availability). There also will be awards in various categories.
