For the men, freshman Brian Sosa was spectacular in his rookie season. He picked up a pair of top-five finishes at the Northeast-10 Conference Championships after grabbing fourth in the 500-freestyle before claiming gold in the 200-backstroke. He also earned the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week award three times during the year. Freshman Jakub Lewandowski is also coming off of an impressive season during his first year of collegiate competition. He touched first in the 1,000-freestyle against both Adelphi and Le Moyne before recording a sixth place finish in the 1650-freestyle during the NE-10 Championships. On the women's side, sophomore Paula Castelblanco excelled for the Setters both in the classroom and in the pool as she won both the 200-backstroke and 400-IM during a road meet against Rowan. Then in the NE-10 Championships she recorded a seventh place finish in the 200-backstroke with a clocking of 2:12.87. Also impressive was freshman Katie Scarlett Loughlin who earned the Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Week award twice during her first season as a Setter. During the NE-10 Championships she placed 13th in the 50-freestyle event while swimming as part of a quartet that took fifth place in the 200-freestyle relay event.
