MONSEY, N.Y. - The atmosphere inside the Sport-O-Rama Ice Rink Friday night was electric, as bitter rivals Suffern and Mamaroneck locked horns for the first time this season on the ice.
The Tigers came into the match unbeaten at 7-0, adding to the drama.
But in the end, it was the Mounties - who scored early in the first, and led the rest of the way - who walked off with a 3-0 victory.
Michael Ruthberg scored Suffern's first goal, David Rozitis picked up his first varsity goal just over a minute into the third, and Evan Cama wrapped up the scoring five minutes later.
