PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The Pace University men's and women's lacrosse teams will host United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association -- or USILA -- HEADstrong Foundation Cancer Awareness Day on Saturday, April 23, at Pace Stadium.

The men's lacrosse team is set to take on Assumption College that afternoon at 12:00 p.m., followed by women's lacrosse against Franklin Pierce University at 3:00 p.m.

HEADstrong Foundation Awareness Week takes place from April 15-23. This landmark initiative asks lacrosse teams nationwide to make a statement on the playing field by pledging a game, raising funds and wearing HEADstrong awareness accessories in support of the cause.

Donations made during the game will go to benefit the HEADstrong Foundation. Donations will be accepted throughout the day, but the Setters are also accepting donations on their respective fundraising pages.

Visit the Pace Men's Lacrosse fundraising page to make a donation, and click here for Pace Women's Lacrosse page to do the same.

The HEADstrong Foundation™ is a non-profit organization committed to providing essential programs and services to improve lives affected by cancer.
