Byram Hills Lacrosse Classic Raises $50K For Wounded Warrior Project

ARMONK, N.Y. -- Byram Hills High School held its inaugural No Man Down Fall Lax Classic which featured 55 varsity, junior varsity, seventh- and eighth-grade lacrosse teams and club teams, to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and efforts raised more than $50,000 in funds, according to a report by The Examiner.

Each participating team paid $500 to benefit the charity, and many team members also donated additional funds to the cause, according to the report. 

Participating teams came from the lower Hudson Valley, Fairfield County, Conn., and Long Island, the report said.
