A third-inning single by Frankie Vesuvio plated Kevin Wietsma with the go-ahead for the Bobcats, and a groundout by Tim Gagliardi brought in a run for a 2-0 lead.

Nick Contillo scored on a wild pitch in the fourth inning, which would prove to be the decisive run. Queensbury's Brett Rodriguez knocked in a run in the fifth, and a bases-loaded walk produced another run in the seventh, making it a one-run game.

Byram Hills' pitcher Matt Gertz started and picked up the win, lasting 6 1/3 innings.

The Bobcats are coached by Scott Saunders.
