Byram Hills Boys Basketball Takes Winter Classic

ARMONK, N.Y. – The Byram Hills boys’ basketball team rolled to two victories, taking its own Byram Hills High School Winter Classic tournament championship Saturday with a 52-42 victory over Brewster in the final.

The Bobcats, (3-0), began the tournament with a 50-41 victory over Fox Lane in Thursday’s opening round led by Jeff Lynch, who had 24 points, four assists and four steals, and Andrew Maloney, who scored 20 points.

Lynch, who was named the tournament’s Most Valuable Player, scored 20 in Saturday’s championship final win over Brewster. Maloney, who was named to the All-Tournament team, added 14 points, and Charlie Murphy scored 12 for the Bobcats.

Byram Hills is back in action Tuesday at 6 p.m. against visiting Briarcliff.
