"I'd heard about it and it is absolutely an experience," he said.

He added that it is good to have the rally early in the school year because it brings students together and raises school spirit.

Sydney Ficarrotta, a senior, was thrilled to participate this year with her sister Hailey, who is a freshman.

"It is an awesome experience," Ficarrotta said. "There is so much excitement and fun. Having my sister here is great. This is a memory that will last forever."
