Voters OK $2 Billion in Tech Funding For Schools In New York State

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Borrowing $2 Billion for tech upgrades in schools was approved by 60 percent of New Yorkers who voted on Election Day, CBS New York reports.

The measure proposed by Gov. Andrew Cuomo will allow each of New York’s 700 school districts to a set amount based on the state aid formula, but districts will have to clear their plans with a state review board to spend it .
