Ikeda's work, a self-portrait in charcoal on brown paper based on the work of artist Robert Longo, made the final selection of 35. Her work can be seen at the Bruce Museum through July 7.

In a different exhibit, AP Photo student Austin Raichelson, also a junior, won second prize in the student division of the 2013 Westchester County Amateur Photography competition with a photo he took last summer of the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
