Update, 7 p.m.

All Mercy College campuses have been cleared by law enforcement as of 7 p.m. Tuesday and will reopen Wednesday, March 9 as usual. 

The threat that closed all four campuses was found to be unsubstantiated.

The college cancelled classes and activities late Tuesday afternoon for the remainder of the evening.

Mercy College announced that all of its campuses, including locations in Dobbs Ferry and Yorktown, have been evacuated following a threat lateTuesday afternoon.

Mercy said evening classes and activities have been cancelled following the 4:20 p.m. evacuation. Mercy said law enforcement is on sight and investigating. 

Mercy's main campus is in Dobbs Ferry alongside the Hudson River, with additional locations in Yorktown Heights, Manhattan and the Bronx.
