Olin has earned the necessary points to complete in both Novice Over Fences and Novice Flats classes. Geneseo’s equestrian team will compete in two more shows in February before the regional.

Olin has captured two first-place finishes to date, at the Geneseo Show (Oct. 25) and the Cazenovia Show (Oct. 26), both in Novice Over Fences. She has also added two seconds.

The Knights are a member of Region 2, Zone 2 of the IHSA, which includes colleges and universities from the United States and Canada.

Each region hosts a number of horse shows in which members compete, earning points towards qualifying to show in the Regional Championship competition. Qualified teams and riders have the opportunity to advance to Zone Championships, and beyond that, the IHSA National Championship Show.
