H.C. Crittenden School Forum Focuses On Mental Health

The event, which will be held in the cafeteria of the middle school, 10 MacDonald Ave., will focus on the topic of executive functioning, a group of mental health skills used to organize people’s minds, actions and behavior.

Deficits in such skills can have adverse effects on children’s abilities to pay attention, take directions, put a plan into action and manage their time.

The forum, led by Fran Levin Bowman, director of Bowman Educational Services, will include practical strategies to help kids succeed in school.
