Eleven H.C. Crittenden Students Excel In National French Exam

ARMONK, N.Y. – Eleven H.C. Crittenden eighth grade students placed in the among the top ten slots in the nation in an annual exam run by the American Association of Teachers of French, Le Grand Concours 2013.

More than 100,000 students took the exam nationally, which tests listening and reading comprehension.

The following students earned national recognition:

  • Danielle Meyer, 2nd in the nation
  • Jenine Liu and Samantha Pilchick, 4th in the nation
  • Sylvie Binder and Eleanor Hooker, 5th in the nation
  • Timothy Eng, Rianna Rabinowitz and Kayla Reiner, 8th in the nation
  • Yasamin Bayley, Arielle Greenspan and Charles Mabli, 9th in the nation
