Byram Hills Schools Holding Charity Drives

ARMONK, N.Y. – The Byram Hills Central School District in Armonk is holding two drives to help less fortunate children and teenagers during the holiday season.

There are gift donation boxes in the lobby H.C. Crittenden Middle School.

Members of the H.C. Crittenden Middle School VIP/LEO Club have placed gift donation boxes in the school’s lobby.

Gifts will be donated to needy children throughout the area. The last day for donations is Monday, Dec. 15.

H.C. Crittenden Middle School is at 10 MacDonald Ave., Armonk.

Also, the Byram Hills PTSA will hold “The Gift of Giving” on Monday, Dec. 15, at The Wampus School.

The event, which will be from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the school cafetorium, will benefit abandoned and neglected teenagers living at the Pleasantville Cottage School.

Kids and parents alike can come wrap gifts on the day of the event, or donate unwrapped gifts in the weeks preceding “The Gift of Giving.”

This year’s theme is clothing and home goods. None of the gifts should consist of any type of glass.

The Wampus School is at 41 Wampus Ave., Armonk.
