Byram Hills School Athletics Have Successful Winter Season

ARMONK, N.Y. – Byram Hills High School District’s Athletic Department has had a busy and successful winter season.

  • The varsity cheerleaders took second place at the Putnam Valley Cheer Competition. The varsity dance team hosted another successful Dance Expo on Jan. 16, which culminated their fundraising efforts for the 2015 charity, the Mount Kisco Child Care Center.
  • The boys varsity swim team had four Byram Hills swimmers qualify for sectional competition. One Byram Hills swimmer qualified for state competition.
  • The varsity track team had nine league champions at the league meet. At the county meet, Byram Hills had one double gold medalist in the long jump and triple jump.
  • The varsity hockey team hosted another successful “Pink the Rink” game and had a win over rival Fox Lane.
  • The boys varsity basketball team qualified for sectional play
