WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Westchester County real estate agent Hope Mazzola will be featured on Open House” on LX TV (Life/Style Television) on Sunday, Oct. 27 at 8:30 a.m.
Mazzola works at William Raveis Real Estate in Katonah.
The show, which gives a glimpse of some of the most luxurious homes in the Tri-State area, will showcase Mazzola and a home on 101 Round Hill Road in Cold Spring that is “definitely one of the most special locations in the Hudson Valley.”
The house sits on a 26 private acres on a mountaintop to go along with interior and exterior designs that spared no expense. It is currently listed for $9.75 million.
“It has drop dead gorgeous views of the Hudson River, West Point, Bear Mountain Bridge, and on a clear night, the Freedom Tower,” Mazzola said.
“With over 18,000-square feet of livable space, there is really nothing that has been overlooked in the house. The materials used throughout the house are of the highest quality and impeccably crafted, including hand-cut granite, hand-wrought iron repousse railing, limestone and Brazilian Cherry wood,” she added.
Mazzola, who is a big fan of the show, applied for the home to featured in an episode in May. LX TV wrote back and eventually set up a filming date for June 26. Mazzola said she is very excited for everyone in Westchester and Putnam counties to watch the episode.
This is the second time in the past few months that the area – and its real estate agents -- has been featured on a hit real estate television series. Over the summer, William Raveis Westchester real estate agent Justin Pieragostini was seen in an episode of HGTV’s "House Hunters ."
Mazzola said the area’s homes and residents are conducive to being featured on a national level.
“I do think there are lots of luxury opportunities in this area because we are one of the wealthiest areas of the country with the highest real estate prices and viewers are fascinated with the lifestyle perception of these properties in the luxury price points,” she said.
