NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- Plans for a 36-unit condominium project on the site of a former lumberyard in Armonk are being changed again, according to a report by The Examiner.

Armonk developer Michael Fareri, right, is reportedly changing his proposal for a development at an old lumberyard from a mix of 30 market-rate condos and six affordable units to a project with 48 affordable units.

Developer Michael Fareri had gotten the town’s approval for 30 full market-price condos and six affordable units at the Bedford Road site but had wanted to move the latter to another property on Maple Avenue, The Examiner reported.

Now Fareri plans to drop the original project and apply for a 48-unit development, North Castle officials announced at a recent Town Board meeting, The Examiner story said.

Fareri, who is scheduled to appear before the town Planning Board next month, could not be reached for comment Tuesday.
