Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino has formed a bipartisan coalition of Democrats and Republicans in County government to reduce the size of Westchester's budget over four years (-5.2%) and lower the property tax levy (-2%), while actually improving social services with good management practices. Astorino's bipartisan coalition is showing that cooperative government can work.
