State Legislature Goes Paperless

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – As of Wednesday, the entire state Legislature is using tablet computers and is “paperless,” according to the Albany Times Union.

The state Senate debuted its Apple tablet bill-tracking system Wednesday, about a month after the Assembly started using HP tablets rather the traditional paper documents, the Albany Times Union reported.

However, legislators can still request paper copies of documents if needed, according to the Albany Times Union.
