Former 14-Time Westchester Assemblyman Predicts Hillary Clinton Landslide

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former 14-term state assemblyman from Westchester predicts that fellow Democrat and county resident Hillary Clinton of Chappaqua will trounce Republican Donald Trump in the November general election.

Richard L. Brodsky, a former six-term state Assemblyman from Westchester, predicted a landslide win by Hillary Clinton of Chappaqua in the fall election against Donald Trump.

In a blog titled "I Smell a Landslide," published here by Huffington Post, Richard L. Brodsky wrote: "The past week has shown us a leader, and a leader (Trump) is, with a fatal flaw: an inability to adjust his character to reality."

Brodsky, who also represented Greenburgh as a former member of the Westchester County Board of Legislators, continued, "His campaign is one of personal insult, ethnic divisiveness and blatant disregard for the norms of political discourse. On the one hand, this is what got him the nomination. On the other hand it cannot possibly broaden his appeal to undecided voters. Those who already support him find it comforting. Those who need persuasion to vote for him will be repelled. It will destroy him."

In addition to a 230-acre Bedford estate that straddles three towns along Byram Lake in Westchester, Trump owns Trump National Golf Club Hudson Valley in Stormville and Trump National Westchester in Briarcliff Manor. The Trump name also adorns Trump Tower At City Center in White Plains, Trump Plaza in New Rochelle, Trump Park Residences in Yorktown and the Donald J. Trump State Park on the Westchester/Putnam border.
