Gov. Andrew Cuomo, unlike most other politicians, has no email trail to follow, the state said in a response to a Freedom of Information request, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
The office of the Democratic governor told the Poughkeepsie Journal that it had no records of emails sent by Cuomo to turn over.
Apparently, he has abstained from the messaging service since he took office five years ago, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
According to the Poughkeepsie Journal, neither did the office release any of Cuomo’s BlackBerry messages.
The governor’s BlackBerry is not owned by the state, and Cuomo does not have a state email account, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.
