Armonk Developer Walks Out Of North Castle Town Board Meeting After Spat

Michael Fareri, a developer who’d like to relocate affordable housing units from his condominium project on Bedford Road to a property at 470 Main St., apparently made comments about Sal Misiti, North Castle director of water and sewer, fueling Schiliro’s anger, according to The Examiner, which reported that the supervisor called Fareri’s comments “deplorable.”

Schiliro also became annoyed by comments Fareri made earlier, insinuating that a sewer project on Orchard Drive was taking place because Schiliro lives on the street, according to The Examiner, which reported that Fareri appeared to have intentionally mispronounced Misiti’s name numerous times during an earlier planning board meeting.

The incident last week marked the second time in less than three months that Fareri stormed out of a town meeting, according to The Examiner.
