A Westchester man was among the latest arrested as the Danbury, Conn., Police Department is continuing to make more busts at a park near I-84 after multiple complaints of sexual activity and solicitation in the area.

At least eight men have been arrested in the area of Farrington Woods Park in less than a week as officers have conducted surveillance, Danbury police said.

The two most recent arrests came at 1:40 p.m. Monday, July 4, police said. In this incident, officers saw Rafael Neto, 40, of South Salem walk from the parking lot area and down a trail, police said.

Shortly afterward, officers saw Henry Joyner, 24, of Danbury, pull into the parking lot, get out of his vehicle and proceed down the same path, police said.

Officers then proceeded down the same trail and saw Neto and Joyner engaged in a sexual activity in a clearing in the woods, police said.

Neto and Joyner were placed under arrest. Each was charged with public indecency and held on $500 bond.

The Danbury Police Community Conditions Unit is conducting the surveillance operations at Farrington Woods Park, located at 127 Mill Plain Road, which is off I-84 near the New York border.

Over the past several weeks, there have been multiple complaints regarding Farrington Woods Park, police said.

Several of the complainants said parkgoers were being solicited for sex acts by men parked in the parking lot. Others said they have seen adult men engaged in sex acts in the woods and in the parking lot area.

On Friday, July 1, two men were arrested at the park and charged with public indecency.

Another pair was arrested at 2:05 p.m. on Thursday, June 30. And two other men were arrested at 3:19 p.m. Wednesday, June 29, at the same location.
