Verbal Dispute Tops North Castle Police Blotter

The complainant called around 3:45 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23, to report that she heard yelling, possibly coming from behind her house.

The responding office located the verbally sparring pair and the matter was “adjusted.”

In other police blotter items:

Friday, Sept. 23: An Old Orchard resident called police around 1 p.m. to report that a man had been taking pictures of a house with his cell phone. When confronted, the man got in a blue Subaru and drove away, police were told. They were able to locate the man on Route 22 near Rye Lake Bridge. He told them he was in the area doing work for a real estate company. The officer called the company and verified the man’s story.

Around 2 p.m. the same day, police received a call about a driver hitting a yellow median warning at the intersection of Business Park Drive and Route 22 in Armonk then drove away. The driver could not be located. The damaged sign was reported to the Highway Department.
