Verbal Dispute Among Calls To North Castle Police

ARMONK, N.Y. -- A verbal dispute on Sunday was among the calls that North Castle police responded to last week.

Other reports included: 

  • Complainant reports construction vehicles parked in a hazardous manner on Orchard Drive on Friday, Jan. 30. An officer reported no violations at location but that several vehicles were moved to safer locations. Matter adjusted.
  • A man came to NCPD headquarters to report that he lost his license plates on Friday, Jan. 30. He stated his vehicle was involved in an accident and was totaled by the insurance company. He stated he never received his license plates back. An officer issued a MV78B form. 
  • Complainant reported a vehicle has been parked in the same location since Friday and vehicle is preventing snowplows from removing snow on Maple Avenue on Monday. An officer responded and reports issuing a summons for vehicle having an expired registration. Complainant advised he can tow the the vehicle privately if he wishes. 
  • Complainant present at headquarters with a German shepherd she found running at large in the area of Tallwoods Road on Tuesday. An officer took possession of the dog at headquarters and returned same to its owner.
