Two Westchester Fugitives Apprehended By Police, U.S. Marshals

Two Westchester residents were apprehended by New York State Police Investigators of the Violent Felony Warrant Squad working with the U.S. Marshal's Service Regional Fugitive Task Force during an operation Feb. 22 through Feb. 26.

Elizabeth Campbell, 32, of Yonkers was arrested on a warrant for assault in the second degree and resisting arrest from the City of Yonkers Police Department.

Jessamy Turhan, 51, of Mount Vernon was arrested on a warrant for violation of his New York State Parole after a conviction for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree.

Established in 2002, the U.S. Marshal's Service NY/NJ Regional Fugitive Task Force is composed of Federal, State and local law enforcement agencies with the sole mission of locating and arresting wanted fugitives.
