Two Men Assault 7-11 Employee, Customer In Northern Westchester, Police Say

YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Two Yorktown men were charged with misdemeanor assault, after police say they got into an altercation with an employee and a customer at 7-11 on Commerce Street on Sunday.

Police were called to 7-11 at 1:51 a.m. after Brandin N. Rivera, 42 and Brandon S. Rivera, 27, allegedly engaged in threatening behavior with the employee, pushing him, police said.  Police said the two also got into an altercation with a customer, who suffered an injury to his face.

The two were released on their own recognizance and are due back in Yorktown Justice Court on April 27 at 6 p.m.
