'Suspicious' Woman Dressed In All Black Tops North Castle Police Blotter

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. -- Several police calls referring to a "suspicious" woman who was walking in the streets dressed in all black on Thursday, Dec. 25 were among the calls that North Castle police responded to last week.

Other reports included the following: 

  • Complainant called to report that her ex-husband has failed to drop off their child at home on Thursday, Dec. 25 as directed by a Family Court order. Transferred to Greenburgh P.D. as complainant resides in their jurisdiction. 
  • 911 caller reports her son, who lives on Niles Avenue, texted her telling her his alarm was going off and there was smoke in the house (she stated he was 22 years old and lives with his father) on Friday, Dec. 26. Then she got another text telling her "not to call." She was unable to provide further information. P.O. Zapon responded. 
  • A caller reported a small white dog stuck in a storm drain near Large Mead Road on Saturday, Dec. 26. An officer responded and reports dog returned to its owner at Mead Road; summons issued.
  • Complainant reports unable to locate a tow dolly trailer, which was last inventoried on Monday, Dec. 22 as being in the parking lot. Complainant stated that she was directed to make this report by her superiors, but that she will not know for sure if the property was stolen until Monday when she can speak to other company representatives. An officer responded and reports he spoke to the complainant, and U-Haul will follow up with this Department when they have reviewed all of their records.
