Suspicious Vehicle Tops North Castle Police Blotter

NORTH CASTLE, N.Y. – A report of a suspicious vehicle parked in front of a Sterling Road North residence for two hours tops a recent North Castle Police Department blotter.

About 8:40 p.m. Saturday, May 16, a woman called police saying that a grey SUV had been parked in front of her house, and as she approached the vehicle the driver sped away.

A police officer responded to the area, but could not find the reported vehicle.

North Castle police also recently handled the following calls:

About 8:05 a.m. Friday, May 15, several people called 911 regarding a vehicle rollover near Route 22. Members of the North White Plains Fire Department and the Valhalla Ambulance Corps responded to the scene and the driver of the vehicle was transported to Westchester Medical Center. No further information was listed in the blotter.

About 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16, an Elizabeth Place resident reported that there was loud music coming from a nearby house. She said she believed the noise was coming from Carpenter Way. An officer investigated the area, found that the loud music originated from Stony Brook Way, and the residents agreed to turn off the music.
